The Memory Craft 550e is the newest embroidery machine form Janome…a very pleasing package. It has all the latest functions one would expect, colour touch screen, neat detachable Extension Table and other advanced functions. For example there’s a USB slot to import/export embroidery designs into the machine. It also has a built-in memory where you can save regular designs, plus any customised embroidery designs for later use.

The colour screen is a delight to use, all the touch screen icons can be found easily, plus the icon buttons are large enough for pressing with fatter fingers. Choose from 6 built in fonts, or lots of designs, which can be found by design size or design category.

You can skip through design colours, or zoom forward or backwards stitch be stitch if needed. For example, if a design has 8 colours and part of the design was a black umbrella, the Janome MC500e makes it possible to miss out stitching the umbrella, while continue to stitch the remainder of the design.

The Janome MC550e has a variable embroidery speed from 400-860 stitches per minute and also a design completion time indicator so you’ll now exactly haw long your design will take to stitch out. With automatic thread trimmer the Janome 550 will cut threads between thread changes during an embroidery design with programmable jump thread trimming.
